For Dental Health Month, as a member of "Hero Care,"
the staff participated in the vendor fair at all of the Lee
Memorial Health System hospitals.
Gary Shierling Family Dentistry supported Outreach to
the Dominican Republic, providing toothbrushes and paste for
a recent missionary trip.

Our staff visited Four Freedoms Elementary School, Christa McAullife Elementary School, Trafalgar Elementary, and Oasis
Charter Elementary School. Dr Woodham shared his expertise in
talking with the young students about the importance of dental
hygiene. The kids enjoyed the presentation, especially then they
each received a goody bag containing a toothbrush, tooth paste,
and a coloring book!

As part of Dr. Shierling's commitment to the
community, the entire office participated in X Fest at Cape
Charter School. This was an opportunity to educate students
and families on the importance of brushing and flossing. Our
staff also provided toothbrushes and toothpaste for the students
to take home.
