Dental Health Month For Dental Health Month 2010, as a member of "Hero Care," the staff will participate in the vendor fair at all of the Lee Memorial Health System hospitals. Dr. Woodham visited 3 schools and saw over 500 kids during the month of February of 2009. He taught kids the importance of brushing, flossing, and keeping their mouths clean. Along with the visit he brought the kids all kinds of “tooth tools,” tooth brushes, tooth paste, coloring books, and other fun stuff. Dr. Woodham also gave up a Saturday afternoon to be part of Project Smile—providing dentistry to kids without any financial means for dental care. All of the staff at Dr. Shierling and Woodham’s office realize the importance of early intervention with children and strive to make the experience a pleasant one.
